The Cast-A-Spell program includes:

 

 Teaching meta-cognitive strategies and an exciting fast-paced, multi-sensory approach to spelling;

 Well-defined spelling, innovative yet structured lists to address phonemic awareness, phonetic encoding, sight words, orthographic patterns and spelling words within the content areas;

 Visual memory training;

 Using cooperative learning techniques during spelling instruction;

 Strategy lessons to meet the needs of students of differing abilities and skill levels;

 Building positive beliefs about students learning abilities;

 Rich language for vocabulary development and delicious works.
