SNAP Benefits (Food Stamps): 877-382-2363

The Department of Transitional Assistance (OTA) administers SNAP benefits. SNAP provides a monthly benefit to buy nutritious food. Eligibility for SNAP benefits depends on financial and nonfinancial criteria.

The $2 Bag Program (Every Friday from 3pm-4:30pm)

Old Colony YMCA (71 Cohannet Street, Taunton, MA)

Each bag contains over 12 pounds of mixed fresh produce. No eligibility requirements, no registration, and no ID checks. Take as many bags as you need for yourself, friends or family. Come even if you don't have money; they have never turned anyone away!
